Where has my product been made?
All of our products are manufactured by us in Leicestershire, UK. Check out our about us page for more info.
Are the raw materials used in socks sustainably sourced and is the manufacturing process FairTrade?
We take care in sourcing our yarns to ensure they are sustainable. Alpaca fibre for example has been produced and used in clothing for over 4000 years. Our factory has been producing socks for over 100 years. The manufacturing process is FairTrade.

Why is there nylon in the socks?
Nylon is added to the socks as it is required to give stretch and recovery properties to the fabric. Natural fibres have no stretch properties, nylon is added so that the socks fit snuggly to your feet.
The proportion of nylon is lower for the slipper or bed socks, as they do not need to cling to your feet in the same way as an everyday or walking sock.
Can I wear bed socks with boots?
Bed socks are normally worn at home. You can use them as slippers or lounge socks. We do not recommend you wear them with boots. Due to the low nylon content the socks will tend to fall down when worn with boots and will not have as much wear properties as a boot sock.
How will my socks be packaged?
It depends on the socks. In general, we aim to package them in a box which will fit through your letterbox. If you order multiple pairs or thick socks, then they will be small parcels.
We will package the socks to arrive safely. Unless it is a gift your socks will come without tags or wraps to minimise waste. We will also include washing instruction with the composition of the product. If you order different products, we will tag each individual style so there is no mix up.
Your package will not include an invoice, you will receive this via email.
Can I send my order as a gift straight to the person I am gifting?
Yes. Your package will not include an invoice, this will be sent to your email address.
Do you offer gift packaging?
We don’t currently offer gift packaging. We are considering to offer this in the near future.
Can I make changes to or cancel my order?
If you would like to cancel or make a change to your order, please email us at retail@jalexswift.co.uk with your order number, as quickly as possible. If the order has not been dispatched, we can make changes or cancel the order.
How much is postage?
Postage is free for UK orders.
We currently do not offer international shipment.
Where is my order?
Please wait up to 7 days for UK orders from the date of dispatch. If your parcel has not arrived by this time, please contact us at retail@jalexswift.co.uk and we will look into finding a solution.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship solely to the UK.
My item is not suitable/faulty. How do I return it?

How long does a refund take?
Once order has been received by us, we will issue a refund within 2 working days. Please note a refund can take up to 5-10 business days to appear in your bank account.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept BACS.
